Qiu Jin was a legend in modern history of china who sacrificed her life for the benefits of nation .She made a tremendous contribution to the victory of 1911 revolution. She was not only an illuminati of democratic revolution, but of Women’ s Liberation MovementIn recent years, as the 1911 revolution’ s research heated up, the outputs of Qiu Jin’ s research has to be published. But the overwhelming majority of research monographs and thesis is about textual research of Qiu Jin’ s life and revolutionary achievements .The present writer is to know the reason、the evolution and the character of Qiu Jin’ s democratic revolution ideology based on the profound research. This article is composed of three parts.The first part concentrates on the main reason of the formation of Qiu Jin’ s democratic revolution ideology. The main reason are the following five aspects: a happy home enviroment、the influence of revolutionary friends、the misfortune of her marriage、her off to Japan。The second part is mainly about the evolution of Qiu Jin’ democratic revolution ideology, there are four periods: germination、initial shaping、totally shaping、maturity period.The thirdpart is about the characteristics and the assessation of Qiu Jin’ democratic revolution ideology, they are family revolution coupled with city revolution、women revolution coupled with national revolution、legal forms of fighting coupled with underhanded fighting、written revolutionization coupled with revolutionary practice.
