Curriculum Design Research on the Biology Inquiry Teaching Under the Perspective of Theory of Contrary Course Design

The new curriculum reform emphasizes learning scientific knowledge in an inquiry-based way to cultivate student’s quality, accordingly, the teacher must change his teaching way into an inquisitive one .As a subject of scientific learning of high school, biology course standard also explicitly advocates inquiry learning as one of the basic idea. Thus, the question of how to use the inquiry teaching in biology class gets extensive research. However, the effectiveness of inquiry-based teaching is still lower in class, and it’s really worrying!The contrary course design theory proposed by American educators Wiggins Grant and McTighe Jay is a new tape way of curriculum design.”Identify goals-design evaluation towa- rds the goals-detailed design”is the main idea of the theory and it emphasizes the preliminary thinking of the curriculum design. The evaluation and detailed design point to the teaching goals, so the theory will play a very active role of increasing the effects of inquiry teaching, which is inefficiency because of the phenomenon that“more attention to the process, less to the result”and disordered evalution.This study rely on the perspective of the contrary course design theory,and design a new framework according to our country’s real situation on the basis of foreign country. The framework we propose can be more easily understood and applied by teachers at school than before. According to it, the second period of the lesson“Enzyme to reduce chemical reaction energy”is designed.The curriculum design deeply digs up the teaching goals based on the course standard, selects goal-based evaluations and makes comprehensive course design. Through that, we try hard to make the whole lesson organized around the teaching goal, thereby to increase the effectiveness of inquiry teaching, use it to promote students’ real development.
