With the continuous development of the computer and network technology, applying the modern science technology in civil aviation is a new necessary trend. The design of Pre-Flight Prepare System is based on computer network. The system analyses the requirement of the flight training and instruction, purposes to solve the difficulties in the traditional way, relieves pilots’fatigue ,and improves efficiency.The system uses the most advanced Browser/Server three layer application model, J2EE Platform, and light J2EE application server Tomcat. The security of system is guaranteed by the advanced Model-View-Control frame. The MICROSOFT SQL SERVER2000 is selected to manage the datas. The system can be accessed on WWW without any limitation.The content of the system is rich and abundant, which includes fifteen modules, such as the flow tracking management, the pilots/teachers information management, the airplane information management, flight arrangement information, the airway information, the airport information, and the flight test, etc. All the information is provided exactly and timely. Whether in flight department or at home, the authorized pilots can login the system and start the flight prepare flow. In addition, the flow is recorded in system completely, which is very useful for inspectors to inspect. Compared with the other similar system in airline company, the system includes the flight test model additionally. The pilot students can finish the flight test automatically. At the same time, the system collects and analyses the wrong answers, which can help the instructors learn the students’ability about flight knowledge, thereby, the quality of teaching is improved.The system changes the traditional flight prepare model, improves efficiency, satisfies the civil aviation’s requirements. Moreover, the system unifies all the information in college departments, standardizes the security management, enhances production strictness and security guarantee, and upgrades the collage’s information degree. The most important, it establishes the foundation of informatization for collage.The whole project has already been finished and it runs in CAFUC Guanghan Sub- collage.The function and performance of this system have reached the design demand,and it runs well and is well received by user.Now,it is spreading in the whole CAFUC.
