The cutter suction dredger is a non self-propelled dredger generally to be suitable for dredging all kinds of soil. Recently with the development of our country coastal port, some larger projects like reclaiming land from the sea have appeared. This results in the rapid development of the cutter suction dredger in my country. At the same time the dredging environment changes from inland river to coastal water .The trational "spud positioning" become more and more dangerous. "The Christmas Tree" system which is made of three elasticity anchor wires is one of the methods of positioning cutter suction dredger. Compared with "spud positioning", it’s more suitable for the unfavorable conditions like deep water and strong waves. But it is more complicated in principle and has to meet higher technical requirements. "The Christmas Tree" system positions commonly on the stern of cutter suction dredger. It is composed of anchor winch、anchor、steel cable、positioning tree、fixed structure. This dissertation takes one of 2000m~3/h cutter suction dredgers as my earlier study object. In three aspects: the design of "The Christmas Tree" system、making the 3-D model and stress analysis of the positioning tree、positioning control system, I make the study as follows:1. Ascertained whose structure form and system composition according to"The Christmas Tree" System operating principle.2. Ascertained "The Christmas Tree" System external load; having analysed detailedly its force under three kinds of working conditions: dredging transversely、advance longitudinally and anchor mooring ; having found extremely large value that winch pulling force needs under every working condition, provided a basis for the follow-up design and analysis.3. Basing on pulling force extremal, checked main component in Christmas Tree System; Ascertained the parameter of winch, steel cable, anchor; established detailed structure form and drawing of the positioning tree.4. Made whose 3-D model according to the drawing of the positioning tree; having got the tree’s stress and displacement cloud atlas under every working condition by the finite element software.5. Make mode analysis of "The Christmas Tree" System under three kinds of working conditions.6. Designed one kinds of "The Christmas Tree" Control System, introduced whose principle and realization process, gave error range and feasibility.All above works have realized and optimized "The Christmas Tree" System design in the our country’s cutter suction dredger.
