Research on Ventilator’s Synthetic Test Platform and Ventilation Mode

The ventilator is an indispensable instrument for clinic salvage and curing the urgent or chronic breath attenuation and malfunction. It takes positive effects on enhancing the medical treatment and benefiting the sufferers.The paper searches the synthetic platform design of ventilator test, the simulation of ventilation mode and the validation of ventilation mode. Its work contains two aspects: design a platform of test basing on virtual instrument for testing the performance of ventilator and research the simulation and realization of ventilation mode. The primary research of this paper includes:(1) Design the synthetic platform of the ventilator test. Introduce the system’s overall structure, software and hardware design and the realization of all the functions. This platform lays a foundation for searching the ventilation mode.(2) Build ventilation modes which consist of the lung and the ventilator. It simply but truly reflects their structure characteristic.(3) Apply the PI control and adaptive control methods to the ventilation modes based the pressure control, then achieve the simulation of several common ventilation modes (PCV, PSV, SIMV, CPAP) and contrast the simulation results and the true waveforms of the ventilator’s running, consequently confirms the feasibility of ventilation model.(4) Introduce the theory elements and simulation of higher level ventilation modes, such as PAV and FRCPAP.More and more ventilators are applied to medical treatment, the research of ventilator is later in china, and its performance needs a great deal of improvement. The research results have certain reference value to the development of the ventilator.
