Modern education evaluation idea emphasizes to stick out the principal part of teachers in the process of teachers evaluation, respect the right of teachers’speech, so now it is developing tend to value teachers self-evaluation. Recent Chinese Basic Education Course Reform Outline (Trying out) point out clearly:“Setting up a evaluation system to help teachers keep improving, focus teachers analyzing and reacting on their own teaching conduct, building a evaluation system that teachers self-evaluation plays a main role in it.”However, in practice, teachers self-evaluation in middle schools in our country has been ignored for a long time. This article according to the theory bases of teachers self-evaluation, explains the teachers self-evaluation the definition. Analyses the present condition of teachers self-evaluation in middle school, using four middle schools in Chaoyang City as a case. It raises implementing countermove of middle school teachers self-evaluation from six aspects, such as, recognizing the importance, mastering the principles, perfecting target system, using effect methods, improving the quality of self-evaluation. In order to improve middle school teachers ability of self-evaluation, advance middle school teachers self-evaluation system to keep perfect and developing.
