That history curriculum in senior high school must emphasize the development of students’ ideation, which has been put forward in History Curriculum Criteria of Senior High School. Critical thinking as the power and infrastructure of innovation thought gradually becomes the glossary which the educational circle focuses attention on.This article in view of the historical discipline characteristic, selected the critical thinking to take the research direction, elaborated the related questions about constructing critical thinking in the high school history teaching: The theory and the reality basis of constructing critical thinking; The condition of constructing critical thinking in the high school history teaching; The concrete implementation of constructing critical thinking in the history teaching as well as significance and enlightenment from constructing critical thinking and so on. This article concluded that, it urgently needs the advance in constructing critical thinking in the high school history teaching, raising student’s exploration, the critical spirit and the innovative ideology and to bring students comprehensive and healthy development. It is more urgent and important to the Chinese to complete the socialism harmonious society to cultivate critical thinking ability, because only a nation with high critical spirit and innovation ability can complete highly democratic, creative vitality, prosperity and happiness society.This article is intended to systematically sort out a comprehensive theory of constructing critical thinking in high school history teaching and to discuss on the meaning and value of constructing critical thinking in high school history. It tried to sum up and make reasonable and feasible practice strategies, and to enrich and develop the theory and practice of constructing critical thinking teaching, which is helpful to students to raise their ability critical thinking and to access healthy, comprehensive development.
