With the development of modern information technology, web video resource has been increasingly used in excellent-quality-course in university. However, problems exist in the said use, like unclear and low-quality pictures, simple introduction instead of proper editing, and the lack of interaction with students, which may hinder the effect of the usage of video resource as a teaching method.To cope with the said problems, based on some related theories of course- construction and usage of video resource, this Article analyses the actual use of video resource in a provincial level excellent-quality-course in some university in Guangzhou, and the data collected from a field research on students of this university. With the clear picture of the usage and the data collected, the Article puts forward recommendations to improve the teaching effect.The first chapter is about the reason for the choice of theme, its purpose and significance, together with the introduction of the structure, research method and the key words.The second chapter is about the related research achievements. Through the comparison between domestic and international usage of the said resource, problems will be revealed.The third chapter will draw a clear picture of the current usage with data collected through the field research.The forth chapter will put forward some personal recommendations based on the above analysis.
