IPTV as a telecommunications network , the Internet triple play and wide network entry point in the world within the rapid development and large - scale commercial phase shift from the pilot phase . Middleware technology to solve the interoperability encountered in the course of the development of IPTV , expand the high cost of equipment and waste issues , ITU IPTV Focus Group middleware and application platform explicitly as an important component in the architecture of IPTV standards section. This paper combines the ITU IPTV Focus Group , the first to explore the principle of the IPTV functional structure of the system and the EPG system ; -depth analysis based on the message queue middleware technology and IPTV middleware technology . The requirements of the structural features of the IPTV system and EPG metadata transfer , proposed based the metadata transmission of the message queue middleware design thinking , the middleware has the openness and scalability . Entire middleware system , middleware interfaces and subsystems data processing flow , detailed design and implementation provides implementations of the middleware the middleware design ideas and Java technology - based programming . Finally, based on the the middleware system functional requirements , design the system test program .
