In this era of information explosion , increasing the amount of information needs , information , large capacity, high transmission quality, reliability these requirements has brought great challenges to the backbone transmission system . The development of optical communications and dense wavelength division multiplexing technology raised temporarily to meet the requirements of the communication system . Erbium-doped fiber amplifier , low noise , gain characteristics compatible with the wavelength division multiplexing system , reducing the transfer costs , improve the quality of transmission , but the high concentration quenching limit the further development of the erbium-doped fiber amplifier ; erbium Yb co-doped fiber amplifier made ??not only to solve the problem of concentration quenching also makes fiber amplifier to maintain the original erbium-doped fiber amplifier gain performance , and provide a reference for long-distance , high-capacity transmission system , more future optical networks laid the foundation. Erbium- ytterbium co-doped fiber amplifier in hybrid fiber amplifier transmission system made ??simulation and analysis , specific work as follows : the use of a simulation model of ytterbium , erbium -doped fiber length and erbium ytterbium doping concentration was carefully screening, obtained for the system transmission length and erbium ytterbium doping concentration ratio ; based on the same conditions , the use of simulation software for traditional hybrid fiber amplifier ( FRA and EDFA ) and FRA and EYDFA of hybrid fiber amplifier transmission system in the rate of 2.5Gb / s, 10Gb / s , respectively, simulation, and they are analyzed and compared , and then each of these two systems in 10Gb / s , 40Gb / s transmission rate under different dispersion compensation techniques .
