EBV and HCMV be Detected in the Hypertrophy of Tonsillar Adenoids of Children in Qingdao

Objective To explore the the Qingdao area children tonsil adenoidal hypertrophy EB virus and human cytomegalovirus correlation . Method of polymerase chain reaction ( polymerase chain reaction , PCR ) technology , paraffin -embedded tonsil adenoid tissue EB virus ( Epstein -Barr virus , EBV ) and human cytomegalovirus (CMV) (Human cytomegalovirus, HCMV) separation and detection . Results in this group of 67 children with tonsil adenoidal hypertrophy in patients with EB virus detection was positive in 15 cases ( 22.39% ) in the tonsil tissue ; adenoid tissue detection was positive in 26 cases ( 38.81% ) , EB virus in the tonsil and adenoid tissue expression difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05 ) . The human cytomegalovirus detected in the tonsil tissue positive in 11 cases (16.42 %) ; the adenoid tissue detected positive in 9 cases (13.43 % ) , human cytomegalovirus in tonsil and adenoid tissue express the difference was not statistically significant ( P > 0.05 ) . Tonsil tissue , the expression of EB virus and human cytomegalovirus difference was not statistically significant ( P > 0.05 ) . Adenoid tissue , the expression of EB virus and human cytomegalovirus difference was statistically significant ( P <0.01 ) . EB virus in the tonsil tissue of 67 cases of children with tonsil adenoidal hypertrophy group was positive in 15 cases ( 22.39% ) ; positive in 26 adult patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome group 1 patients ( 3.85% ) tonsil adenoidal hypertrophy group of children and adults with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome group EB virus expression difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05 ) . The human cytomegalovirus tonsil tissue detected positive in 11 cases (13.43 %) ; adult obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome tonsil tissue in patients with positive 0 (0% ) , tonsils adenoids in children the mast group and adult obstructive sleep apnea -hypopnea syndrome group human cytomegalovirus expression difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05 ) . Conclusions can be detected in the tonsil adenoidal hypertrophy children paraffin-embedded tissue of the tonsils and adenoids to EB virus and human cytomegalovirus .
