The tardigrade Is a class of widely distributed small multicellular animals. In the world's oceans, freshwater, and terrestrial environments, you can see their footprints. Tardigrade species is widely distributed throughout the world, and some endemic species compared to places. Currently, researchers found worldwide and described about 1,000 species of tardigrade. The tardigrade generally has the ability to withstand cryptobiosis this ability to experience low humidity, low temperature, low oxygen, high salt environment, with its implicit Viability body a series of changes in the tardigrade can quickly enter a latent state, when the environment is suitable, they soon return to normal activities. 170 moss quadrats collected from Taibai Mountain elevation of 1000m-3700m plot tardigrade community data from different types and levels of richness, evenness and biodiversity index and altitude relationship and other aspects of the Taibai Mountain region tardigrade community diversity research. The results are as follows: 1. Taibai Mountain tardigrade species richness, for the first time a large number of species found. In Taibai Mountain tardigrade community survey, the effective use of moss quadrats 166 tardigrade individuals collected 10,678, of which the southern slope of 6258 and 4420, North Slope, part of the 2 classes, 3 orders, 4 families and 13 genera a total of 39 species. Taibai Mountain tardigrade community dominant species and common species of 10,069, accounting for 94.3% of the total number of investigations, belonging to 2 classes, 3, 3 families and 4 genera and 12 species. Survey, found the new species, new record species the Qinling new record species of 23 species, 58.9% of the total survey the number of species. Two kinds of new species, eight kinds of Chinese new record species, 13 kinds of the Qinling new record species. The discovery of these new species, provides a theoretical basis for further study. 2. Elevation tardigrade community significantly. Taibai Mountain tardigrade Species distribution is very uneven growth with altitude, a series of alternative trend that different dominant species and common species at different altitudes. Elevation changes on the the tardigrade number of individuals (including population density) and the number of species. By analysis of variance on the number of individuals, population density, number of species were the results show that the altitude change is very significant impact on the number of individuals, population density, and a significant impact on the number of species. As the altitude increases, the number of individuals, population density, number of species were shown a significant growth trend. Probability experiment by the total number of species, species richness, Shannon-Wiener index, Margalef index, Pielou evenness index and Simpson dominance index, interspecific encounter (PIE) a diversity index of Taibai Mountain tardigrade community analysis and research. The results show that the diversity index at an altitude change was not significant. However, due to the lack of a diversity index, cover up the species composition, number and density of a significant change in the altitude direction, the use of β-diversity index is a good solution to this problem, accurately reflect the species composition, species substitution rate, and many other changes. 3. Tardigrade community distribution does not significantly affect the north-south slope differences from the total number of species, species richness, Shannon-Wiener index, Margalef index, Pielou evenness index and Simpson dominance index, interspecific encounter the probability (PIE) seven aspects of distribution, respectively, on the southern slopes of tardigrade community and North Slope compared using analysis of variance were significant test each index are displayed as not significant. The results show that: the the Taibai Mountain region of the southern slope and North Slope tardigrade communities there is a difference, but the difference was not significant. At the same time, and also the use of β diversity index Jaccard index (C_J) of the differences in the southern and northern slopes of Taibai Mountain tardigrade community. With the rise of the altitude, the distance between the Tai Bai Shannan North Slope is also reduced to 3700m plot, the southern and northern slopes of the plots have been very close, therefore, with increasing elevation, the southern and northern slopes of the similarity coefficient gradually increased. In addition, when compared to the species of the southern and northern slopes, some species only occur in the southern slope of the North Slope.
