The Study of Intelligent Windscreen Wiper System of Automobile Based on Fuzzy Control

The wiper is one of the important parts of the automobile body . The car smart wiper system is gradually replacing the traditional mechanical structure of the wiper . Intelligent rain sensing wiper control system allows the driver to exempt the trouble of manually operated wiper , to improve the safety of the driving rain . The raindrops sensor is an important part of the automobile intelligent wiper system . This article analyzes the composition of the principle of the three raindrop sensor developed a new car infrared raindrop sensor , based on the principle of light intensity change . The sensor uses the infrared emission tube and the infrared receiver tube, the composition of the infrared light emitting circuit and the infrared light receiving circuit , and with a microcontroller processing received signals produced by Siemens . Raindrop sensor is mounted on the side of the windscreen of the cab , and when it rains, the raindrop sensor can distinguish rain or drizzle . The experiments show that the raindrop sensor responsive , real-time , stable performance . Many nonlinear factors will affect the synchronization wiper in automotive smart wiper system , . In this paper, based on the fuzzy control theory and wiper synchronization swing rules proposed an intelligent wiper system based on fuzzy control of the car . PIC microcontroller to control the entire system , the wiper is to control two wiper blades , wiper motor has two high-speed and low-speed stall infrared raindrop sensor signal detected when the PIC16F873 the RA0 port that raindrops falls on the windshield , wiper blades swing around when light rain , the wipers work in low gear , heavy rain , wiper work in high gear . Two wiper motor speed can not be exactly the same due to the problem of the production process , there will be two wiper swing out of sync . So , we need knowledge of human experience , the fuzzy control rules , to adjust the duty cycle of the PWM signal , the two wiper synchronization swing . Hardware block diagram and the main program flow chart is given . In this paper, MATLAB software simulation system of fuzzy control and PID control system , and compare the two simulation results . It can be seen that the fuzzy controller has speed adjustment , small overshoot , control and high precision .
