Acoustic signal acquisition system which used in the acoustic laboratory usually make of many discrete devices. There are many disadvantages in this kind of acoustic signal acquisition system just like poor reliability, poor noise performance and high cost. In response to these shortcomings, the paper will design and implement an acoustic signal acquisition system with good noise performance, wide dynamic range and high reliability which used in laboratory.This paper discusses the design of an acoustic signal acquisition system, which the frequency range of 500 Hz~10k Hz and the input signal dynamic range of 30μV~300mV.The main work of this paper is including three aspects. One is hardware design for system. The other hand is software design for system. The third aspect is the main circuit module test.The hardware design of this system makes up with signal conditioning part and signal processing part. The signal conditioning part includes amplifier module, filter module and data conversion module. The core of signal processing part is DSP TMS320VC5509A which made by TI. It can control the whole system. The software design of this system includes Bootloader for DSP, configuration for McBSP and DSP communication with the ADC. The circuit tests include the gain of amplifier module test, the frequency of the test filter module and system noise test. Then we test communication between DSP and ADC, in the last part of this paper is the whole system test. The key and difficulty point of the paper is the whole system design and low-noise design.
