Research on Relationship between the Firm Size and Outsourcing of Business Key Success Factors

In this paper, an example of Dalian Software Park business service outsourcing enterprises of different sizes the critical success factors. Specific research process is: first, to carry out qualitative research, the three companies selected grounded theory on service outsourcing enterprises and the importance of critical success factors for case analysis, the initial service outsourcing enterprises obtained the critical success factors model; secondly, to quantify study, the data in accordance with the large, medium and small scale enterprises groups, using single factor analysis of variance clearly firm size on the critical success factors scored a significant impact, and then use regression analysis investigated the critical success factors of order changes, get a different scale outsourcing key success factors of enterprises to supplement the lack of qualitative research. Significance of their research in the following three aspects:First, from the micro level of the software outsourcing business critical success factors to make up a number of other industries and countries from the macro level, the lack of software outsourcing company; the second is to carry out qualitative and quantitative phase combination of case studies, research and more to make up the existing lack of descriptive studies; Third, service outsourcing enterprises to clarify the key success factors at different stages of the weight difference, the success of software outsourcing business has an important significance.This study is divided into six chapters:Chapter 1 presented the main issues this paper, outlining its significance, this study may also explain the existence of the innovation, research methods and research framework.Chapter 2 defined the outsourcing and service outsourcing core concepts, summarizes the key success factors for outsourcing business related research, and proposed size of the business service outsourcing and its key success factors of the relationship between theoretical assumptions.Chapter 3 is to study design. First, select a clear business case basis and standards, and give a brief overview of case companies; followed the grounded theory is based on depth interviews with design; Finally, firm size for the service outsourcing relationships with key success factors design of the questionnaire.Chapter 4 is the use of grounded theory on the Dalian Software Park, Neusoft, YIDATEC, iceberg surfing started three companies Qualitative case studies. Get through the interview first-hand information for research questions, through open coding-decoding the spindle-the three of selective decoding process outsourcing firm size are critical success factors in relation with the theoretical model.Chapter 5 are quantitative survey and data analysis. Of three groups based on size of service outsourcing enterprises, key success factors for its survey; application SPSS 16.0 to conduct reliability and validity analysis, factor analysis, ANOVA, regression analysis, and ultimately come to the key service outsourcing enterprises in Dalian success factors model.Chapter 6 discussed based on research findings, management recommendations put forward and explain the progress made in this study and the limitations, future research were discussed.In this paper, three companies of Dalian Software Park, for example, application of the method of combining the quality of service outsourcing enterprises depth scale and the relationship between the critical success factors, qualitative research found that, for the Dalian Software Park service outsourcing enterprises, leaders, professionals team, marketing strategy, market opportunities, product value is a key factor in business success, but the talent team, marketing strategy, product value of the internal factors and controllable factors as more critical; quantitative studies have examined and corrected by the theory of qualitative research model to prove the large scale enterprises, medium and small correspond talent team, marketing strategy, product value of the strong correlation, which defined the service outsourcing enterprises of different sizes should be focused on efforts to improve corporate resources relevant factors.
