The slope engineering related to various aspects of the construction of the national economy , such as open-pit mining engineering , railway , highway , water conservancy construction , housing construction and municipal construction , etc. , which on the one hand they maintain the structures related to the safety and normal use , On the other hand , they affect the cost of construction of the structures . With rapid population growth and over-exploitation of land resources , the slope has become one of the global three major geological disasters in parallel with the earthquakes and volcanic . Expansive soil is a water-swelling softening , water loss special cohesive soil shrinkage and cracking . Its main engineering properties of fissured overconsolidated sex , repeated swelling and shrinkage . Expansive soil as dams fill material in construction projects , may slip surface of the dam ; expansive soil as excavation medium , may produce landslide failure excavation slope body . In this paper, based on the existing research results of expansive soil slope , rainfall intensity , rainfall held when fissures cracking depth stability of expansive soil slope parameter study period to be considered and not considered fissures slope seepage variation of the field . The need during expansive soil slope stability analysis , considering cracks affect the contrast between the two . Slope Wangjiang Road Shushan , for example , the analysis of the mechanics of the calculation model , based on the field test data , through numerical simulation , slope stability analysis . In this paper, on the basis of slope stability analysis , taking into account of the construction of and reference support method in highway engineering practice at home and abroad , the use of the treatment of a variety of expansive soil slopes retaining reinforcement measures and means of protection , and the pre- stress anchor Frame Beams with soil nails anchoring to consider expansion characteristics of regular design calculations , and as a basis of prestressed the anchor rope reasonable spacing problem . The results of this study in the actual construction of better applications , has made considerable economic and social benefits .
