Research on Steam Exhaust-recovery System of Ship Power Devices

Through the simulation research on steam exhaust-recovery system under the big load undulation operating mode of the ship power devices, decreasing the experiment time during the process of condenser research and performance analysis, it was helpful for designing system and controlling modulator’s preferences.Analyzing the dynamic operation of the steam exhaust system, the worst working condition was that the steam load of condenser was maximal when the steam tank was exhausting and then minimal almost got zero when finished. The paper mainly studied the method of building the simulation model of condenser from the aspect of ensuring model’s precision, established dynamic mathematical model according the undulation operating characteristic and steady-state model of the system. Based on this model, a simulation model was obtained, and it was used to simulate the working process of the condenser. Meanwhile built the experiment device and verified the model through comparing experiment result made in No.1 and simulation result of system operation under low pressure (2.0MPa).The verification result can satisfy the engineering requirement, and the simulation model had high reliability and utility. Based on this simulation model, changing the inlet parameters and analyzing the fluctuant characteristic of the system working under high pressure (6.0MPa), we can conclude that the pressure and temperature of condenser will drop through appropriately changing the water flow rate.
