With the rapid development of China 's electrified railway catenary detection rose rapidly in importance . By pantograph dynamic envelope detection occupies an important position in the high - speed electrified railway catenary detection , the pantograph dynamic envelope of the concept in the the electrified railway construction, operation , maintenance , has been widely used . The machine vision technology is an emerging discipline along with the development of the computer generated , safety , versatility and advantages . This design idea is the superiority of the machine vision with the pantograph dynamic envelope detector combination , the study by the pantograph dynamic envelope detection method machine vision to reach pantograph dynamic envelope detection speed the purpose of high precision . This article describes the pantograph dynamic envelope defined general pantograph dynamic envelope of practical significance and catenary testing methods and procedures for inspection by the pantograph dynamic envelope , stating the machine vision technology the definition of tasks , development , characteristics , and so on . Pantograph dynamic envelope detection system for the pantograph detection requirements and the functional and structural characteristics of the machine vision system , the completion of the design . The main content of this paper include detection system hardware configuration , the models of cameras, lenses, frame grabbers , computer equipment and function . Camera calibration module is used to calibrate the internal parameters and external parameters of the camera , to determine the three-dimensional geometric position of a point of the space objects surface to their mutual relations between the image corresponding points . Image acquisition and lighting control module is used to obtain a clear pantograph image template matching algorithm module identification by the pantograph bow head around the corner and bow angle , Envelope Algorithm module pantograph dynamic envelope . Finally , the experimental results are given . Use Visual Studio 2005 for programming , modular thinking , developed a pantograph dynamic envelope detection system . Debugging run to prove the rationality and feasibility of the system design .
