For undergraduate students of the University of Technology , University Physics is a very important subject . For basic physics teaching reform , university physics and its teaching of quantum physics content , has been a very important research topic worth exploring . In this paper, based on the analysis and summary of quantum mechanics at home and abroad and university physics teaching research , teaching situation of domestic analyzed to identify the shortcomings and deficiencies . Way through the questionnaire , the different levels of the three schools , students of different professional learning university physics and quantum mechanics were investigated . Comparison of teaching materials , teaching methods of foreign universities , student participation , and teaching methods , made ??a number of recommendations and measures to improve domestic teaching situation . The focus of the course content and teaching time allocation is a key and difficult problems of college physics teaching . In this paper, the use of the network and the combination of a variety of media and rational allocation of limited teaching time to solve this problem teach less than the perspective . In this paper, the Schrodinger equation to explain as well as the introduction of giant magnetoresistance effect as taught instance do concrete ideas . Schr?dinger equation as the basic equation of quantum mechanics , the introduction of a two-state system as an example , can be effective in helping students understand the basic principles , familiar with a very important tool in the quantum mechanics of the Hilbert space and Dirac notation and matrix . Discovery of the giant magnetoresistance effect , development , application process , as an example of the engineering students' very important revelation role on this issue was discussed .
