Theoretical Study on the Commercialization of Historic Section under the Typology

Contemporary Chinese construction industry has been unable to shake off the argument that is how to keep the tradition quality of globalization citizen in a traditional city. In the issue of tradition and development, we have two extremes states: always stressed the extension of the historical traditions or concentrated on the criticizing the new focus on the development of breaking the old things. These problems are much more prominent and sensitive in the city’s historic sites.How to find a way out of these two? With the impact of modern civilization, how to return to their source and participate in the global civilization.In order to provide a new solution to solve the problems mentioned above, this article introduces the typology theory with a new perspective to analyze the problem, including ideas, concepts and design methods.In this paper, the history of commercial lots of updates this theme stressed the dual nature of historical sites. Historical context and geographical factors, the introduction of the typology theory provides new perspective and design ideas to solve the relation of tradition and modern, remains and new. The prototype recognition of history and Stubbornly opposed to the protection at the same time. Through three research examples, analyze the lots of different historical and geographical factors of value. At the end of this paper, through the design of author as an example, the design method mentioned before was implicated in the detailed and reality design process.
