Water resources are indispensable for human survival and economic and social development of natural resources . With the population growth and rapid economic and social development , more and more demand for water resources . Shortage of water resources has become an important factor in of severely restricting China's economic development . Therefore , study of water resources sustainable use evaluation and rational allocation of significance for the promotion of regional social , economic , and environmental development . This paper summarizes the research status of the rational allocation of water resources research , pointed out that sustainable water rational allocation of the lack of research and its development direction . Study include: ( 1 ) sets out the area sustainable use of water resources rational allocation of basic theory and method to establish the sustainable use of regional water resources rational allocation model . Optimal allocation model based on multi-objective water resources based on the decomposition and coordination of large systems theory matlab optimization toolbox of the model solving techniques and methods , and to study the application of simulation technology in the rational allocation of water resources . (2) evaluation index system and evaluation method for sustainable utilization of regional water resources . - North Water District , the status quo in the region years , the sustainable use of water resources in a comprehensive evaluation and analysis of the main problems of the development and utilization of water resources in the present year . ( 3) - North Water District Water system with multi- target , multi-user , multi - complexity of the water , using a multi-objective optimal allocation of water resources based on the decomposition and coordination of large systems theory model , representative of the supply and demand balance program typical annual allocation of water resources ; allocation of water resources simulation model based on the optimization results , the use of the model simulation of a long series of years ; combined water demand programs and water supply programs , set 5 sets of feasible options , the use of the the configuration model is calculated separately for different programs . ( 4 ) analysis of the calculation results of the different programs , program evaluation index system , the use of a comprehensive evaluation model of the rational allocation of water resources program , the best configuration program , the recommended program conducted a comprehensive analysis .
