This article from the feminist narrative point of view of Margaret Atwood 's novel \Novel there are three narrative layer , this article focuses on the innermost and outermost layers , to explore the innermost narrative voice of Alice in female lover 's voice as well as the outermost layer of the narrator , the purpose is to reveal the female voice of this narrative technique in the novel self-expression and subvert the patriarchal traditionally played an important role. Susan Lanser from of feminist narratology angle \The concept of free direct discourse and free indirect discourse also provides theoretical support for this article . This paper is divided into three chapters , the first chapter is an introduction to pave the way for the subsequent analysis . The second section of chapter female lover this layer male narrator challenges her protest The patriarchal traditions shape the women into the silent victim of the image , for the male narrative authority to make their voices heard . The second section examines the discourse of female lover 's heart , pay special attention to the special form to express her thoughts . This form of a blend of the characteristics of free direct thought and free indirect thought , more conducive to express the desire of the female lover of freedom and autonomy . Chapter III through a detailed interpretation of the outermost layer of the narrator Alice for the traditional concept of a sharp and witty comments , and her husband Richard sound manipulation , demonstrate Alice 's clever subversion of patriarchy and traditional authority , and her as a self- endowed the image of the rights of women .
