Design of Embedded Web Server Gateway Based on ZigBee

The application of the embedded Web technology in monitoring system is the up to date development trend in the remote monitoring and controlling field. The past monitoring and controlling system configuration has been changed by the embedded Web technology. With standardization browser, people can visit dynamical web pages of embedded web gateway, so as to watch running state of field device, visit and control the bottom device. Making use of this technology, design and implementation on the embedded web gateway system based on zigbee in this paper. As the hinge where the zigbee and Internet exchange the data, it can effective connect zigbee and internet network.The bottom network is wireless sensor networks, the core of embedded web gateway is LPC2292 and built embedded web gateway hardware by the basic system auxiliary equipment, CC2430, RTL8019AS, SDRAM, FLASH, JTAG, RS232 and so on. TheμCLinux is chosen to be the embedded operating system in this paper, through reasonable config embedded operating system for uClinux, the Boa Webserver has been established; Taking charge of CGI technology, static web page and dynamic web page have been designed, the data interact between browser and embedded web server by SPI communication; The communication interface design is completed between wireless ZigBee model and LPC2292. The browser can communication with bottom network through this gateway, the embedded Web remote wrieless monitoring and controlling system is realized well. When the project is completed, the system was tested includes SPI driven software test and whole system test. The test result showed that the data both passes through the embedded Web gateway from the browser to arrive at the ZigBee network, and can arrive at the browser user through the ZigBee network after the embedded Web gateway place. After the design is completed, people can monitor and control the remote equipment on the terminal browser. By verifying the system function, the system has achieved expection of performance. The experiment proves that this system design is proper. It has extensive application foreground and value of utilization.
