Development of Compound Node of Sensor Network for Traffic Conditions Obtaining

Aiming at the switching in of multipath and different type sensor,transmission of mass data and actual centralization detective mode existed in urban road traffic conditions obtaining technic, taking the concept of distributed traffic conditions obtaining system as background,taking the requirement of elementary basic devolopment work under laboratory environment as principle, the research of this thesis developed a sensor network compound node prototype for traffic conditions detecting.For satisfying the functional requirement of the compound node by distributed traffic conditions obtaining system,this thesis worked on the development by the use of advanced eletronic detecting technic,DSP technic,Field Bus technic and CPLD technic.First,developed and debugged the hardware of compound node prototype,include main controllor circuit,CPLD circuit,signal conditioning circuit,communication interface circuit,human-computer interface circuit and power supply circuit.Sencond,realized the detecting of traffic conditions based on EV Cap and ADC module on chip of TMS320F2812,include traffic volume,instantaneous vehicle speed,average vehicle speed,time occupy and environment temperature.Realized the real time display of detecting results and content switch by CPLD and human-computer interface circuit.Third,realized the basic communication function of CAN Bus based on eCAN controllor on chip of TMS320F2812, and designed the application layer function of CAN Bus for traffic conditons obtaining of a link.Verified the detective and basic CAN Bus communication function of the compound node prototype by sufficient experiments.Connected the equipments to form a sensor network and verified the appilication layout function of CAN Bus by watching the process of the data interchange.Recurring the Enthernet communicationg function and human-computer interface software developed by my fellow,realized the whole process of detecting,processing,and transmission,formed a completed prototype system and demonstration modle,layed the first stone for further development.
