Theory of Chemistry Teaching is a basic specialty course, which is aimed at training Chemistry teachers in middle schools. Now the reform of education in elementary and middle schools has a new demand that the ability of the students in normal universities should be boosted up and the effect on studying Theory of Chemistry Teaching should be improved, thus building up a good foundation for their professional progress. The cores of learning abilities are learning strategies. So it’s urgently required on how to foster the normal universities students’ strategies of learning Theory of Chemistry Teaching.It is stressed and innovated that a system of fostering the normal universities students’ strategies of learning Theory of Chemistry Teaching is set up, boosting up their sustainable abilities, which adopts the theory of Multiple Intelligence, combining the modern theories of leaning and teaching, based on comprehending the present conditions of the normal universities students’strategies utilized on learning Theory of Chemistry Teaching under the background of the New Curriculum Reform, with the approaches of questionnaire and inquisition.The thesis consists of 6 parts:The Introduction part presents the reasons of studying the problem, its significance, and the main research methods.Part 1 defines the conception of learning strategies, learning methods, perceiving strategies, metacognition, and theory of chemistry teaching, and explains the makeup, characteristics, factors, the theoretical basis of learning strategies.Part 2 gives reasonable suggestions based on the diagnoses of the normal universities students’strategies utilized on learning theory of chemistry teaching.Part 3 is the highlight of the thesis. Combining theory of chemistry teaching, it discusses the training principles of learning strategies on theory of chemistry teaching, and learning strategies fosterage from 3 aspects—optimization of learning motivations, the basic methods, and special methods, improvement metacognition.Part 4 gives some cases of strategies fosterage on learning theory of chemistry teaching, and the makeup of learning strategies of chemistry design achieved by the students in normal universities, taking the contents of chemistry design for example and combining the flow of learning theory of chemistry teaching.The part of problems and expectations analyses the main problems still existing during the process of strategies fosterage on learning theory of chemistry teaching, and points out the direction for later research.
