IT teachers’information literacy will lead to the development of information technology education in the process of educational informatization. And teachers will be dramatically encouraged by reasonably and effectively harnessing evaluation criteria. Therefore; the evaluation criteria have a direct parallel with teacher’s IT competence, especially the process of educational informatization.Based on looking up a huge amount of papers, we present a novel Analytic Network Process, which overcomes the shortcomings of current information literacy evaluation model. The previous information literacy evaluation model ignores the affecting relations among the indicator elements. This paper constructs our own information literacy evaluation systems on IT teachers and determines the relative weights of each index by applying Analytic Network Process based on the situation of education for IT teachers. It is expected that these theories can provide some guidance to focus of information literacy education. The main works we have done are as follows:(1) The paper, based on the research of multi-indices comprehensive evaluation method and the analysis of internal and external theory on information literacy, ANP is chose as a analysis and evaluation tool for IT teachers’ information literacy. We meticulously introduce the principles and corresponding operations of AHP, and also analyze how to erect an AHP network.(2) Aiming at the characteristics of information technology teachers, we analyze the connotation and hierarchy of information literacy. Based on that analysis, we summarize the connotation of information technology teachers’information literacy, and construct evaluation index system the information of technology teachers’ information literacy. Then, we make a detailed explanation for the index system based on the connection between education teaching theories and main indexes.(3) Based on the proposed relationship among index elements and evaluation system for information literacy by experts, we construct network evaluation model about IT teachers’ information literacy according to method of ANP.This model is composed of 4 main indexes, 13 secondary indexes, 30 third indexes and the relationship of the indexes. (4) According to web analytics model based on ANP and the judgment of experts and scholars on the relative importance of information literacy, we obtain the judgment matrix among indexes. The data of judgment matrix is reduced; then, judgment matrixes reduced constitute an unweighted super matrix by sections. In order to obtain accurate relatively weights, the concept of weight super matrix is introduced. Unweighted super matrix which is weighted by sections become weighted super matrix. In the end, in order to make the weight of each indicator elements stable, we calculate the weighted super matrix to get limiting super matrix by SD and obtain the weight of each index.(5) We all know that IT teachers of computer professional have more solid knowledge on information technology theory than other subject teachers. However, we find out that the information morality occupies a large proportion from index weights because of profession characteristics of IT teachers. So, moral education plays a very important role in the educational information technology teachers’ information literacy. In conclusion, according to information technology teachers’ professional advantage and requirements of the model, how to improve information literacy of IT teachers by the way of self-raise is discussed.
