Polymer / carbon nanotube nanocomposites with special physical and mechanical properties , its preparation, structure and performance of the research focus in recent years, polymer science . Situ graft reaction for the idea of multi -walled carbon nanotube by a mixed acid treatment method for surface modification , the introduction of hydroxyl functional groups in the surface of carbon nanotubes , the high activity of the polypropylene chloride grafted onto the hydroxyl functional groups PLACE on CNT - polypropylene chloride graft prepared by esterification reaction in situ , on the basis of this graft , the PET - CNTs graft system , and successfully prepared PET-CNTs nanocomposites . This project as a means of SEM, TEM, NMR, XPS, GPC, FFIR, TGA and other characterization methods , confirms the occurrence of graft reaction and graft product structure , analysis of the preparation conditions and structure of the product , the grafting efficiency the relationship between , studies show that the acid treatment can be effective in improving the surface characteristics of carbon nanotubes , to form a hydroxy functional group by acid treatment , polyacrylic acid chloride functionalized in situ esterification reaction three-step reaction can be realized the carbon nanotubes and PET covalent grafting of the graft on the PET about the total mass of 96% .
