Demand response integral part of the electricity market mechanisms and enhanced interactive grid operation control means is becoming the focus of the content of the smart grid construction. Before electricity market price signals or incentives to respond rationally adjust their electricity consumption behavior, will greatly enhance the operational efficiency of the electricity market. However, to accurately assess the demand response benefits of quantitative expression of these benefits. Quantitative analysis of the benefits of demand response has important implications for to grasp demand response development potential to promote demand in response to the implementation of the project to carry out. Research at home and abroad are mainly concentrated in the demand analysis in response to short-term benefits and long-term-benefit analysis, project evaluation has been carried out by three aspects. The smart grid construction as the background, mathematical optimization theory as a guide, the quantitative analysis of demand response from the different time scales of intensive research. First put forward a demand response method of quantitative analysis of the short-term benefits, UNIT COMMITMENT effective to quantify the impact of the social benefits of demand response and market participants to accurately calculate income taken into account in the calculation process, in-depth analysis of the unit characteristics demand in response to the the effective potential impact, and laid the foundation for the follow-up questions. Based on the quantitative analysis of short-term benefits, based on the traditional power system daily load characteristics indexes, demand response participation concept, drawing on the analysis of the idea of ??the weighted average cost of demand response participation from the perspective of the overall system efficiency, guiding significance for the rational design of demand response rules in order to give full play to the role of the demand side in the electricity market. Turn on a longer time scale, demand-response dynamics, delay, nonlinear, feedback and other problems exist in the long-term benefit assessment system dynamics the Vensim DSS simulation platform established demand response system dynamic simulation model. System running through computer simulation to study the impact of user satisfaction on demand transfer and social benefits of demand response. A comparative analysis of the model can enter different parameter simulation, can be used as a demand response policy development and assessment of the implementation of the effect of the \
