In recent years, the teacher’s knowledge structures in the world more and more bring to high attention of the education sector. The study and exploration of the knowledge structure of teachers has become increasingly active. Especially since the beginning of the 21st century, many experts, and scholars regarded that a series of studies of teacher’s knowledge structure should be carried out under the world of higher education. In order to comply with development of China’s Public College Physical Education, PE teachers in the knowledge structure of the study by the country’s sports also equally bring to high attention of the education sector. However, at the present, what is the ideal knowledge structure of the college physical education teachers? Also what is real knowledge structure of physical education teachers? How to achieve the ordinary public colleges and universities in the knowledge structure of physical education teachers from ideality to reality? How to comply with the requirements of the knowledge-based economy era, a new concept of knowledge for the wizard to re-examine physical education teachers knowledge structure, and improve the knowledge structure of PE teachers teaching? How to establish a reasonable knowledge of teaching physical education teachers, sports teachers improve the overall level of service in our public university reform and development of physical education requirements? And so on. This series of problems has become the country’s sports and education cannot be evaded and urgent need to solve the problems.By the methods of literature summary, questionnaire survey, expert interview and mathematical Statistics, Hunan College physical education teachers were as an object of study. This essay analyzes the public athletics teacher’s teaching knowledge status in quo and existent problem, puts forward the necessity in teaching knowledge structure and how build the knowledge structure of college. Hope that through this study, public colleges and universities for our common knowledge of the physical education teachers to provide reasonable construction of an effective response.The results indicate: the general public universities teaching physical education teachers lack a solid core of knowledge; inadequate knowledge of the close; the relative lack of knowledge of the expanding series of problems. These problems are arising from a series of teaching practical problems. To solve these problems, the university physical education teachers must stand on history and social perspective, a new role to re-examine their commitment to the teaching work, By strengthening the core level of knowledge and develop close of knowledge, and expand development of knowledge and promote college sports teaching of perfect knowledge, Construction of the final order to promote the physical and mental health, and promote the comprehensive development as the center and into sports science, life science, education, psychology, sociology, the humanities and other subjects as one, pay attention to people’s feelings, aesthetics, ethics and humanities The quality of the training complex system of knowledge.
