Research on the Human Resource Management Realities in Our TV Industry

Consisting of personnel recruitment and selection, system establishments of job training, achievement management, salary distribution and career planning, human resource management plays an important strategic position in all enterprises. In this regard, the human resource management in TV industry still has a long way to go.Being the most active and mobile capitals in the productivity, human beings are the most creative resources. In the knowledge economy today, human resources are the decisive factors for an enterprise. All senior administrators are sparing no effort in making full use of their human resource management to increase their enterprise operation achievements. In the very competitive 21st century of mass media, the essence of competition lies in the competition for media talents. The TV industry is wisdom-and-technology concentrative, which calls for talent resources for further development. Only when the personnel mechanisms are renovated and human resources are restructured can an enterprise keep up vigor and creativity. After China’s entry into the WTO, China’s TV media should adopt a strategic perspective to consider the importance of the human resources and their management, learn from the advanced foreign human resource ideas, keep on exploration and creation, and formulate and carry out, on its real conditions, the humanistic management mode“centered on humans”to survive in the severe competitions. This paper starts from the research on TV station human resource management, investigates the human resource management realities in our TV industry, analyzes the relationships between human resource management and TV industry development and media management, and proposes the reform and innovation means of human resource management in TV industry with an aim to provide references for theoretic discussions and practical guidance.
