Purpose ( 1) to understand the distribution of college students type D personality . (2 ) to explore the relationship between college students type D personality and self-esteem . ( 3 ) to explore the relationship between college students type D personality and depression anxiety . Accordance random cluster sampling principles extracted from the Hunan Institute of Science and Technology 800 college students as subjects , Type D Personality Questionnaire ( the Type D Personalityscale , Ds- 14 ) , the self-esteem questionnaire (Theself-Esteem Scall, SES), depression and anxiety symptoms questionnaire - short form (MASQ-SF). Results (1) measured subjects D personality detection rate of 33.9% . ( 2 ) D personality groups non - type D personality in terms of sex ratio , parents' marital relationship and family monthly income , a significant difference ( p <0.05 ) , grade , professional , urban and rural , ethnic , and whether the one-child parents education level, parents' occupation was no significant difference ( p > 0.05 ) . (3) Students Type D personality group and non- type D personality group in self-esteem scores , a significant difference ( p <0.01 ) , non - type D personality group self-esteem score significantly higher than that of type D personality group . Type D Personality total score NA, SI Self-Esteem Scale significantly negatively correlated (p <0.01). Depression and anxiety (4) Students Type D personality group and non- type D personality group on depression Anxiety Scale total score and factor score significant differences ( p <0.01 ) , type D personality group scored significantly higher than non- type D personality group. Type D Personality Scale total score and negative emotions and social inhibition and depression Anxiety Scale total score and factor the existence of a significant positive correlation (p <0.01). Conclusion ( 1 ) Students Type D Personality detection rate of 33.9% . (2) of Students Type D Personality distribution in the sex ratio , parents' marital relationship , family monthly income were significantly different . ( 3 ) D personality and self-esteem the existence of a significant negative correlation . ( 4 ) D personality and the presence of depression and anxiety , a significant positive correlation .
