Polymer solar cells, has a wide range of sources of materials, light weight, simple preparation can be a large area of ??film-forming, flexible, etc. and become the focus of attention in recent years. Larger branched electron transport groups evil oxadiazole side chains of the introduction of PPV, design and synthesis of the side chain containing 1 3, 4 - oxadiazole the PPV derivatives of poly {[2 - (3 - {3,5-bis [5 - (4-butoxy) phenyl] - 1,3,4,-oxadiazole-2-yl} phenoxy) propox-y-5-methoxy-1 ,4-phenylenevinylene]-co-[2-methoxy-5-(2-ethylhexyloxy) -1,4-phenylenevinylene]} (3C-OXD-PPV). Double-butoxy can sufficiently improve the dissolution properties of the polymer was added in the structure. The target polymers have good thermal stability. We studied the UV-absorbing properties of the polymer, the electroluminescent properties, and photovoltaic properties. Applied to the polymer 3C-OXD-PPV polymer solar cells, photoactive layer is formed with PCBM blended, the photovoltaic device thus obtained showed that the open circuit voltage was 0.81V and the short circuit current was 4.93 mA/cm2, the fill factor is 0.40, The maximum energy conversion efficiency of 1.60%. Successfully synthesized 4,4 '- (2,1,3-Benz-othiadiazole-4 ,7-diyl) bis (2,5-bis (hexyloxy) BENZALDEHYDE polymerization by the Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons reaction) (M -1) to build a unit three rules orderly alternating conjugated polymers. We systematically study the the target polymer UV absorption and electrochemical properties. The electrochemical test results show that the three polymers have a lower HOMO level, which suggests that the three polymers in the air have a better stability in the photovoltaic device, which can effectively improve the open circuit voltage. These three polymers for the donor, PCBM receptor, the photovoltaic cell was prepared. The results showed that, compared to the PF-DBT and PTDBT PP-DBT-based battery having a higher energy conversion efficiency of 1.62%. Containing thiophene - benzothiazole, with an aromatic ring forming the donor - acceptor systems, by Horner coupling joint into a series of low band gap polymers. These narrow bandgap conjugated polymers exhibit a broad absorption spectrum (350nm-850nm), can effectively match the solar spectrum, improving the acquisition rate of sunlight. C60 derivative PCBM charge receptor donor, these three polymers prepared bulk heterojunction organic photovoltaic cells, photovoltaic performance of preliminary studies, these three devices energy conversion efficiency: 0.33 0.38,0.76%.
