After road completion, as the environmental engineering accomplished, like afforestation and ecological restoration, there is a new ecosystem appearing, which consist the road lands stretching several tens to hundreds meters along the road and 50 to 70 meters across. The new ecosystem and the area affected by road social impact are named highway ecosystem.The highway ecosystem achieves stabilization with manual work in short time, and directly bears the stresses like artificial damages, natural disasters, environmental pollution and etc. The various evaluations of present code are monomial about environmental evaluation or economic evaluation, but it lack of a integral and comprehensive evaluation. In order to evaluate the highway ecosystem healthy synthetically, and provide more data to future highway design, highway landscape design and highway ecology design, and easy to ensure the sequence of road network maintenance management plan, according to highway ecosystem’s social effect, ecological environment, landscape and disasters, based on index defined principle, this thesis establishes a highway ecosystem healthy evaluation index system. The index system consists of destination layer, criteria layer (3 criterions), first-level index layer (6 first-level indexes) and second- level index layer (22 second- level indexes). It uses analytic hierarchy process and entropy method to define each index weight, and structure highway ecosystem healthy evaluation index multi-objective and multi-level evaluation model based on fuzzy mathematics, and calculate the result of highway ecosystem healthy. It combines the subjective weight and the objective weight, the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, and raises the acceptability and reliability.Take Chang-Zhang highway for an example, it evaluates its highway ecosystem healthy, and the result is excellent grade to fine grade, is fit with the actual situation. According to this result, and put some suggests about routine environmental protection and maintenance measure by considering Chang-Zhang highway’s characteristic and actual conditions.
