Spaceborne radar altimeter is one of the most important marine remote sensing microwave remote sensing , have important uses in scientific research and economic life . The error analysis is one of the core issues of the satellite altimetry This paper systematically analyzed spaceborne radar altimeter error sources , especially instrumental error and the tracking error , and total height measurement error distribution . In addition , the article also spaceborne radar altimeters in orbit calibration of some of the problems . The innovation of this paper the following aspects : (1) a comprehensive analysis of spaceborne radar altimeter system-wide instrument errors , especially errors of the intermediate frequency and digital circuits , the beneficial results . ( 2) study the spaceborne radar altimeter echo tracking algorithm . Analysis of the tracking algorithms in the split gate error discriminator curve and tracking accuracy . Spaceborne radar altimeter echo and decorrelation methods to promote the applicability of the echo tracking algorithm . ( 3 ) study the spaceborne radar altimeter attitude angle estimation algorithm, the accuracy of estimated attitude angles . The acceleration lag deviation spaceborne radar altimeter (4) proposed a new compensation algorithm . (5) the error analysis of dual-frequency radar altimeter ionospheric dispersion effect . ( 6 ) spaceborne radar altimeters in orbit default standard program engineering design and error analysis .
