Investigation on New Teaching Materials of Middle Schools in Zhengzhou after New Curriculum Reform

In the early 20th century, basic education reform was widely implemented in primary and middle schools in every city of China. The new curriculum reform was carried out positively and orderly as well in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province. As is known to the date, researches on the usage of music textbook in junior high schools in Zhengzhou is still incomplete, namely lack. Therefore, several middle schools in Zhengzhou were chosen for investigation. By means of questionnaire towards students and interviews towards music teachers, we obtained the first-hand literature including the content, form, style, layout, function and effect of new music teaching materials since they were put into use. On the basis of this work, we start our analysis and investigation. After comparing the new music teaching materials with the previous ones, we will find the advantages and disadvantages of the new music teaching materials and finally provide the method of optimizing them. Taken together, it is beneficial for music educators to carry out investigations, adjust and improve their work.The research method is mainly a questionnaire, and interviews and site visits by law. According to the survey, I found new material the following problems:⑴boring part, the lack of sense of the times;⑵and insufficient emphasis on the needs of students;⑶local characteristics plate (seventh unit) arrangement of the lack of practicality;⑷self some students can not fully mobilize the initiative.To solve the above problems, the author gives the following solutions:⑴start from the selections, change the teaching materials in a timely manner;⑵textbook is for students, student-centered;⑶innovation, music and cultural heritage of Henan;⑷increase in self-instruction content, mobilize the enthusiasm of the students.
