The Preliminary Study on the Mechanism of the Processing of Euphorbia Pekinensis

This thesis focuses on the research of Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis.We conduct experiment in several aspects: Literature Review,processing technology,the influence of processing on chemical composition,the impact of the processing of Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis on toxicity and Pharmacology effects and so on.The details are as followed.We organized the history and modern research on the processing of Radix Euphorbia pekinensis,which provided reference and basis for the processing research .Selecting the appropriate indicators of quality control of Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis,we optimized the best processing technology.by Orthogonal test method.Compared Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis and its stir-baked with vinegar by TLC,we found that the main parts where the chemical composition changes. Compared Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis processed in diferent ways by HPLC characteristic spectrum method,we found that heating and diferent methods of addding vinegar can lead some changes in chemical composition of Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis.What,s more,the changes are diferent when the heating and the way of adding vinegar changes.Compared the toxicity and pharmacological efficacy of Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis and its processed products,we found that the LD50 of the Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis stir-baked with vinegar is obvious higher than others.The LD50 of boiled one and first boiled and then mixed with vinegar one are both higher, and both of which have higher toxicity than stir-baked with vinegar,So we can learn that heating and adding vinegar can reduce the toxicity of Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis more greatly.We selected parts of pharmacological efficacy of Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis and its stir-baked with vinegar from the impact of diuresis, intestinal propulsion, and anti-inflammatory according to the indications of Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis.The results of the impact of diuresis show that the Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis stir-baked with vinegar is significantly reduced, and the main parts are in the extracts of petroleum ether and chloroform which polarity are samaller; The results of the test of intestinal propulsion show that Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis stir-baked with vinegar are much lower in the impact of intestinal propulsion,which can reduce the irritation of Gastrointestinal more obviously;The anti-inflammatory activity can be significantly increased after the Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis stir-baked with vinegar but none in Radix Euphorbiae Pekinensis, and the active part is the exacts of ethyl acetate.
