Since the world has entered the 21 century, the wind power and technologies have also become research hotspot of many countries.This paper mainly focuses on the application of switched reluctance generator(SRG) in wind generation, and has done some further theoretic research as well as simulation research and experimental research.In the first place, this paper summarizes and analyzes the present and the prospective of wind generator and relative techniques based on a large number of referenced materials, and also presents the several advantages of switched reluctance generator system, further make the significance of developing this kind of system clear.Secondly, this paper describes the operation and control principle of SRG from the new perspective.In addition to discusses the traditional control method, it also suggests a new control method, which combine formula-fuzzy control with direct instantaneous torque control of switched reluctance generator.Once more, This paper produces the simulation model with MATLAB and PID controllers、the formula-fuzzy controllers are used for the power system simulation, comparing with different results under two different controllers, the simulation waveform is quick and stable which demonstrate the formula-fuzzy control is well.Finally, control software and hardware of the 6/4 motor is developed and tested, which based on DSP control technique, experiments have also been done on this practical system, the experimental results deeply validate simulation model.
