Research on the Relationship between Junior Middle School Students’ Group Life Experiences and Their Social Cognition

Nowadays, various problems are induced by the new social modality of China with the background of Singleton Trend, Informatization, Modernization and Globalization. One of the important problems among them lies there: what changes happened with the group life experiences and intercourses of youths on the background of Singleton Society? How their socialization courses are influenced by the changes and how their special social cognition, self-awareness and way of behaviors are formed? And how much influences various groups have on youths’ social cognition? Generally, before 1960s, the researches related recognize the importance of family. However, the research interests on the compare between various groups were arisen with the advance of "Group Socialization Theory". With such a social circumstance and research background, I’ll try to solve the problems above with the influence of group life experience on social cognition as cut-in point.One of the basic research’s contentis is to find out the social cognition situation of junior middle school students. Based on four variable selected----fealty cognition, honesty cognition, attitudes towards life and nation cognition, the paper edit questionnaire as research tool and choose 1,800 junior middle school students in four middle school as research object. After obtained the data, I deal them with SPSS software and analyze the social cognition situation of junior middle school students in Shanghai from two angle, cognition content and demography. Various attitudes ware found among the junior middle school students: a distinct differentiate toward the traditional value on fealty cognition, a coexistence of cognition and worry on honesty cognition, an interweavement of narcissism and self-abasement on attitudes towards life and a contradiction between the remark and attachment on nation cognition. At the same time, significant differences were found on sex, grade, academic achievement and parents’ education experience in the four field of social cognition.One of the most important parts in the research is to find out the influence force of group intercourse on the social cognition, which is also the research theme. The research is carried out from two aspects, group genre and group intercourse experience. In the research on the influence of group genre, family, school, community, internet and accompanier were selected as variable and relative affectionateness level was chosen as research tool. Multianalysis was adopted to present the basic trait of junior middle school students’ intercourse and its impact on social cognition. There are founds as follows. Generally, the relative affectionateness level of junior middle school students is relatively low; parents can’t take on their charges effectively; social distance is relatively far between teacher and students; student like the class but unacceptable; Internet has infiltrated in daily life; the institution and faculty provided by community is not enough; partner is indispensable in junior middle school students’ life and new characters about the intercourse appeared. Each group has different influence on social cognition. Family has greater influence than accompaniers in fealty cognition, while Internet influences less. Family has greater influence than accompaniers in honesty cognition. In the attitudes towards life, family still has the greatest influence and school and community follows. In nation cognition, family influenced greater than accompaniers and Internet functions least. In conclusion, family tops the list of factors forming junior middle students’ social cognition; the influence of Internet and accompaniers is swelling and school and community have a comparatively small impact on junior middle school students’ social cognition.In the research on the influence of group intercourse experience, knowledge transfer, model demonstration, group’s activity carried out and circumstance are selected as variable and the way of group intercourse was chosen as research tool. Multianalysis was adopted to analyze. It was indicated that books and newspapers are the main methods students get information about life education and grandparents have a great influence on junior middle school students’ nation cognition. Mother affects greater than father on the whole, but father has a bigger impact on children’s attitudes toward life. Campus circumstance and school activity influenced different aspect on junior middle school students against community circumstance and activity. Each intercourse way has different impact on social cognition. Knowledge transfer has a greater influence than model demonstration on fealty cognition. Model demonstration influenced great on honesty cognition and knowledge and circumstance followed in order. Knowledge transfer affect greater than model demonstration and in nation cognition, the same order with honesty cognition appeared again. In sum, knowledge transfer and model demonstration contribute very much on the social cognition of junior middle school students; circumstance has a comparative low influence and activities carried out acquired almost nothing of the anticipated effect.The aim of the research is to find the problems in the field of education and reflect. According to the different influence of various factors, I discussed the problems in education and present the counter measurement and suggestions about the formation of youths’ intercourse experience from various aspects, including school, family, community and Internet.Based on the analysis above, the research conclusion of the paper is:Firstly, It is found that the social cognition of junior middle school students is not as worrisome as some people thought. Under the pluralistic impact, they can stand fast at traditional virtue and inherit in developing what is useful and discarding what is not. Meanwhile, values of them at the east with the west, tradition with modern self- with others, interweave, individual with contradiction of society, the new value system has not still totally taken shape, so, it is particularly important to strengthen and guide teenagers’ values of this period.Secondly, Family have, it has to be can status that substitute still in the s Socialcognition forming in teenagers; School and community have not given full play to its function of education, further introspection seems very essential; Companion and network influence strengthen gradually, How rational utilization, to make the best use of the situation companion’s network function a new subject of education.Knowledge transmits and demonstrates is still the important route formed in teenagers’ social cognition, The function of the environment and the colony activity remains to further strengthen; With the improvement of the independent ability of women’s economy and change of child-bearing idea, the negative impact on children of the single-parent family is reduced gradually.Thirdly,"colony’ s socialized theory" has certain cultural differences, and it is not totally established under the contemporary China’s culture background. Family influence their from come up, think still very much strong wholly as primary group.
