Along with continuous development of information technology, the enterprise management has been combined with information technology more and more closely, and ERP applied in enterprises more commonly. Though the benefits brought by ERP for enterprises are obvious, the overall effects of ERP applications are not ideal, and there are still many problems to perplex enterprises and software developers, such as long implement cycle, high cost, high risk, and low successful rate.Why there are such problems existed in actual applications of ERP? The problems can be divided into two parts: enterprises and ERP software development. Based on above analysis, ERP system has been researched thoroughly and the following creative results have been obtained.The author puts forward the concept of generalized ERP system. According to this concept, the three components of this system are: enterprise users, management thoughts, and ERP software. The structure of this system has been also presented here.Based on the concept of generalized ERP system, the three-component theory about generalized ERP system has been put forward. According to this theory, the relationship among enterprise users, management thoughts and ERP software are researched further. Their relationship is the basic theory for the realization of the reconfiguration ERP system.By means of the evolution principle of the nature, the evolutional tree management pattern of ERP has been put forward. The reconfiguration process of ERP is considered as a special evolutional process. By means of the evolutional theory, ERP can be maintained and managed macroscopically. The development of ERP has been guided by this method.For the reconfiguration of ERP, its measuring capability algorithm and quantitative description have been put forward. For reconfiguration system designers, this method can gives the guidance in the development stage of this system, and the feasibility evaluation in the reconfiguration stage of this system.According to the ontology, the parametric reconfiguration mode of ERP has been realized, one of the parametric reconfiguration ERP also designed and developed by means of the virtual machine. The module reuse and parameter reconstitution are two important methods for software reconfiguration. Based on the modularization, this dissertation emphasizes the parametric analysis for the research on ERP system. At the same time, the ontology can be used for the communication among software developer, implementers and enterprises.By means of Delphi7 and SQLServer2000, the reconfiguration ERP system and the engineering case in the enterprise are presented finally.
