Life, experimental, theoretical, practical, procedural, methodological, historical, modernity, basicand comprehensive constitute the biological properties together. With the development ofbiological technology, the ideology of Biology is becoming rich: the material of life, thestructure and function of living systems, whole and part, the adaptation of living creature andenvironment, biological evolutionary and so on. The biological properties and the ideology ofbiology constitute the foundation of education together. On the basis, biology teachers carry outteaching activities to promote the overall development of students, training students’ skills toconstruct knowledge network and conduct the experimental operations, Culturing the scientificattitude and scientific spirit, enriching students’ emotional experience, enhancing physical fitnessand training the view of labor.The scientific approach to education is a prerequisite for biology education. Biology teachersmust use reasonable teaching methods and teaching strategies, follow certain teaching principlesand organize teaching seriously in order to guarantee the educational function of the biologicaldisciplines can be achieved in the teaching activities.The article stresses the theoretical research and uses literature method, observation andspeculation method. Based on the theory of personality development, need hierarchy theory andother theories, the paper discussed the principle of biological education. Meanwhile, the paperanalyzes the biological properties and the ideology of biology.This article consists of five parts. The first part is the introduction, discussing the meaning of thetopic and related concepts, current research, the theoretical basis of the study, the purpose andsignificance of the research, research methods and processes; the second part discusses the basisof biological education from the biological properties and the ideology of biology; the third partanalyzes the education role of biology,including students’ moral, intellectual, physical education,aesthetic education, labor and technical education; the article combines the education foundationof biology, starting from the all-round development of the students; the fourth section discussesthe teaching methods briefly; the fifth part is the conclusion. On the basis of previous studies, the author listened to the opinions of experts and scholars,teachers and students widely to explore the biological education and promote the overalldevelopment of students.
