Adaptive High Dynamic Range CCD Imaging System

With the popularity of digital cameras and other digital imaging devices , the consumers of its performance is also proposed increasing demands . Facing the development bottleneck CCD imaging system has two main aspects : the small low resolution and dynamic range . Two defects seriously affect the performance of the CCD imaging system . To this end , we propose an extension of the dynamic range of the imaging system solutions . The system uses LCoS and DSP combined to achieve the expansion of the dynamic range of the imaging system . Which , LCoS is mainly used to adjust the imaging to the reflectance of the light of the above objects of the CCD image sensor ; DSP ??systems using TI recently introduced the DaVinci digital image processing platform : TMS320DM6437, respectively . It is mainly through a certain algorithm to determine the reflectance of the following image frame by using the received image data , and its role through the controller to the LCoS above LCoS reflectance adjustment to achieve the purpose of obtaining high dynamic image . Papers latter part , gives a schematic diagram of the system , the algorithm of the experiment and the final experimental result . After analysis of the experimental results verify the feasibility of this system is extended dynamic range .
