Informatization is the main trend and an important force to promote the economy and social development in current world. The17th National People’s Congress of the Communist Party explicitly pointed out,"Comprehensively understand the new situation and the new task of the in-depth development of industrialization, informatization, townization and citization, commercialization, internationalization.""And promote the integration of the informatization and the industrialization." Put the informatization on a new strategic height. These are the times requirements of the economic globalization and the network development. This is a strategic task which every enterprise has to face and complete.With the establishment of modern enterprise system and the rapid development of society and economy, the enterprise human resources has become the important factor about survival and development of enterprises. Strengthening the effective management of human resources and the operation has become an important means to improve the enterprises’ competitiveness. The human resource management has drawn more and more attention from the enterprises. In human resources management, the salary system has an irreplaceable incentive and oriented action human resource is the core module of the system. As a result of the own characteristics of the petrochemical enterprises and its mechanism speciality in the reform, the salary system in Jilin Petrochemical Co. is comparatively more complicated than the other enterprises, and different units have different compensation standards. In addition, many items are unstable. All these factors make the personal wage department’s work heave and its efficiency low.A set of complete and effective management system play an important role in the development of the enterprises. Now most of the enterprises are deeply researching the promotion of the compensation system level. A fitted set of pay system has important sense to the enterprise management level.This paper introduces the current status of Jilin Petrochemical Co. salary management and the main problems of salary management system. With the turning point of the ERP project construction, according to the Jilin Petrochemical Co. salary management mode, ERP human resource management objectives and design model, this paper optimizes and integrate the labor division and process of the pay management business in Jilin Petrochemical Co. And it discusses the related business points and the main technical problem during the designing and the developing of the salary management system, and it also carries on the demand analysis and the designing and developing of the whole system.The study of Jilin Petrochemical Co. salary management system in this paper has the mirror meaning for other large-scale petrochemical enterprises.
