In the respect of oil exploration, the problems such as hard to increase drilling pressure, slant well and low drilling speed happen in the process of normal drilling in China. Theseproblems restrict the increase of drilling speed, and influence the efficiency of exploration anddevelopment; aerated drilling system can efficiently solve the above problems in normaldrilling. The technology of aerated drilling is continuously improved in recent years andgradually replaces the normal drilling technology under certain working condition. Then theaerated drilling system (aerated drilling rig) is utilized accordingly. The aerated drilling rigowns lots of advantages such as increase drilling speed, locate smaller place of well site andsave lots of drilling cost and has promoted and applied by oil field overseas. However, due tothe high cost on purchasing or leasing the rig abroad and to meet the exploitation requirementof oil filed in China, the independent design and manufacture of aerated drilling rig isurgently needed. This article makes deep research on aerated drilling system of7000m drilling rig. Itmainly introduces the type select and feature analysis of main equipment, technology flowdesign, mist pump design, high and low pressure pipeline design, and air control valveassembly design. This article also describes the commissioning requirement of the wholeequipment and makes tests on sampling equipment; finally ideal result in field tests isachieved and participated goal is realized to prove this system owns further promotion andapplication value.
