In wireless communications , multipath fading has been one of the important factor affecting the reliability of the system , diversity against multipath fading . As typical spatial diversity techniques for multi-input multi-output (MIMO) technology , it is possible to greatly improve the performance of the wireless communication system . However, due to the limitations of the mobile terminal volume, power , MIMO technology subject to certain constraints . Cooperative diversity as a new airspace diversity provides a new way for the MIMO technology toward practical use . The collaborative communication basic idea is : the use of the broadcast nature of the wireless signal , in a multi-user communication environment , using a single antenna of the adjacent mobile subscriber in accordance with certain shared by each other 's antenna to cooperate with each other send a message to produce a similar multi-antenna send virtual antenna array ( virtual array ) , to obtain a spatial diversity gain . This paper mainly studies cooperative diversity protocol design issues . First, the details of a collaborative communication system model and how it works ; followed according to different criteria to classify the existing cooperative diversity protocol , and outlined the various protocol works . Then, a detailed analysis of the two basic amplify and forward (AF) and decode-and-forward ( DF ) protocol , the outage probability performance and comparative analysis with the forward pass mode , to further clarify these types of cooperative diversity protocol . Finally, the working principle of the estimated Forwarding ( EF ) cooperative diversity protocol analysis of outage probability and performance simulation . AF and EF , we proposed a new cooperative diversity protocol - adaptive estimation Forward ( AEF ) cooperative diversity protocol . The basic idea of the agreement , according to the different user channel CSI , relay terminal R of the received signal using a different approach . I.e. , the relay node R , when the inter-user channel transmission characteristics better ( i.e. I SR GT ; R ) , the relay terminal R nonlinear estimation and forwarding received signal EF mode . Conversely , when the S to the R channel is in deep fading , the R end of the received signal using the AF mode power amplification repeater . By analyzing the outage probability and simulation results obtained AEF AF and DF and better performance compared to the conclusions .
