The AV1200-2 vertical milling machine based on dynamic characteristics

The study concerning the modeling, dynamic test,dynamic characteristic analysis and optimization of the CNC machine tools has awalys been a hot spot in the field of the machine tools dynamics. Based on the research of "High grade CNC machine tool and basic manufacturing equipment",aiming at AV1200-2 vertical milling machine,this paper focuses on the the modeling method of considering combining interfaces、experimental modal analysis、the dynamic characteristic analysis.The details of this paper are as follows:Firstly, the structural characteristics of AV1200-2 vertical milling machine was analyzed and the simplified 3D model of the machine tool was built by Solidworks.Based on the combining interface parameters, through using the MATRIX 27 unit of the sofeware ANSYS to simulate the fixing and moving combining interfaces in this machine tool, the FEM of this machine tool was established.Secondly, the theory of the modal test was illustrated and the modal parameters of the machine tool was obtained by using hammer-hitting method. The results of the modal test was also analyzed and verified. Based on the test boundary conditions,the FEM modal analysis of two models for considering the influence of the combing interface and without considering the influence of the combing interface were calculated, and their results were compared with test results respectively. The analysis results of considering the influence of the combing interface got higher coincide degrees with modal test results, proving this modeling method feasible.Otherwise, the analysis results of without considering the influence of the combing interface was quite different from modal test results, showing the combining faces having a certain influence on the dynamic characteristics of the machine tool, it also verified that only taking consideration of the combing interface, the accurate analyze of the dynamic characteristics of the machine tool could be done.At last,based on the actual work situation of the machine tool,the modal and harmonic response analysis was done.Through the analysis of the results, the weak combing interfaces and parts of the machine tool were found, and the suggestion of structure improvement for this machinetool was given.
