The writing teaching is the major activity of Chinese teaching whose present situation is that high input has low output and students attach less importance to it. The traditional evaluation mechanism of writing displays the disadvantages for it can not keep pace with the new curriculum. Formerly, teachers usually correct students’compostions in batches by grading and writing comments. This type of evaluation is over-objective, authoritative, isolated and unitary, which will lead to the margin of the sincere conversation between teacher and students and cause the situation that teacher and students insist on their own point of view.Diesterweg, a French educator, said that“the essence of the art of teaching is not taught, but is to inspire, awaken and inspire.”Therefore, we should try to change the single evaluation mechanism according to students’psychology and development characteristics. Meanwhile, writing teaching should be linked to the appropriate evaluation mechanism and particularly concern on the promoting effects that good evaluation poses to students.Motivation is a psychological process. People will be in the excited state when they receive certain motivational stimuli. The incentive evaluation is student-oriented, and is to encourage students and promote their development according to their practice and writing teaching quality characteristics, and at the same time to ceaselessly summarize and reflect students’learning and teachers’teaching so as to exert incentive function. Among all the evaluation managements, the incentive evaluation is one of the effective methods which are adopted by many people.Based on the above, this paper deals with the school practice as the starting point, discusses how to establish effective incentive mechanism of evaluation from the points of view of“classroom teaching”,“scores of evaluation”,“opportunity coupon use”and“the proper use of comments”, and explores how to better motivate students to good potential, in order to give students a more benign development space. On the basis of practice, this paper sums up some feasible evaluation models through some specific teaching design and practice
