With the development of Chinese economy, the area and quantity of the city grow rapidly.Large districts with rich biodiversity are used for construction, which result in that thebiodiversity of the city and surrounding areas decreases. Urban green space which is the singleliving space for wildlife in the city plays an important role in protecting the biodiversity in it.Nowadays the researches in our country about protecting urban biodiversity mainlyconcentrate on the following areas: the influence of urbanization upon biodiversity, theinvestigation and catalogue for creatures in city, the change of the landscape pattern in city, theoptimization strategy and so on. The study on urban biodiversity conservation planning stressesthe tree species planning of urban plant. The articles involved in green space planning stays onthe of planning principles and the study on the concrete planning procedures and methods islittle. The lack of the planning methods result in that the policies of biodiversity planning whichis published by each city belongs to slogan.This paper bases on the theories of Landscape ecology and Urban planning, thoroughlyresearches the examples of urban biodiversity conservation. This paper refers to the methods ofnature reserve planning, combines the environment characteristics and brings up a series ofplanning methods for green space system.The urban public green space is designed for relaxation. Similarly, we can design anotherseries of green system——urban biodiversity conservation green space system,aiming atprotecting the urban biodiversity. The fourth chapter talks about the design methods of the greenspace system. The writer advises to sift the districts with rich biodiversity and high quality habitatfrom the urban planning districts to be a reservation of urban construction using EcologicalSuitability Analysis, and confirms the boundary and buffer using the method of superimposingMCR Curve and animal activity probability curve and analyzing the threshold. Then we cananalyze minimum path to build the corridor system, and finally through coordinated planningmake this system and the urban public green space operate collaboratively.In the chapter of urban greenland biodiversity conservation form design, the writer studysthe city green patch and corridor, refers to the examples of landscape ecological design, and finally brings up a series of methods to protecting urban creatures.
