Strategy Studies on Creating Lifelike Situations for Ideological and Political Class

The Ideological and Political Curriculum Standard puts forward:" this course should be based on students’real life experience; it focuses on students’ development needs; it expounds the theory in the theme of social life; it constructs course modules combining the subject with life phenomenon, the theoretical logic and the life logic". In other words, the New Curriculum advocates the theory of“coming back to life”, for the colorful life provides us with endless resources for our teaching. As teachers, we need to originate our class in our life and bring more out of it. Creating a lifelike situation for the teaching is the best approach, which can inspire students’learning interest, ensure students’predominant status in the class, create an interactive class atmosphere and improve the teaching efficiency of ideological and political class. However, when we reflect on our practical teaching, not all the lifelike situational teaching can reach an ideal result. In many cases, situations are just situations. They are only forms and fail to obtain its value. Therefore, there is still some blindness as to how to create a useful model for ideological and political teaching, which needs further study.In view of the significance of studying how to create the lifelike teaching situation of ideological and political lessons, this paper is mainly divided into four parts. First, it accurately defines the connotation of the lifelike teaching situation and its characteristics; Based on the documentary method, it arranges and combs the domestic and oversea theories, like“situational teaching" and "lifelike classroom teaching”, etc, which lays the theoretical foundation. The second part of this essay, it discusses the necessity of creating lifelike teaching situation in ideological and political lessons from three aspects, namely the new curriculum reform, the healthy growth of students and professional development for teachers. In the third part, I list the existing problems of creating lifelike teaching situation in ideological and political lessons, through a lot of class observation, and thoroughly analyze the causes. The fourth part, through my personal teaching practice, I study and explore the principles, the main ways and some issues of creating lifelike teaching situation. I hope that the research in this paper will help teachers create lifelike situations for teaching effectively, making the teaching more scientific and effective. Thus, ideological and political class will take on an energetic atmosphere and effect.
