The space station as science platform of human exploring space mysteries, the biggestcharacteristic of it is that it can stay in space for a long time, and provide a safe workingenvironment for human to participate directly in researching of space science. However,because of the impact of long-term high vacuum, low temperature, solar electromagneticradiation, ionosphere, the earth radiation and very harsh space environment, the reliability ofairborne electronic equipment decreases, and some functional modules do not work, evenseriously it can directly affect the whole flight tasks. Therefore, this difficult problem how toextend the orbit period of spacecraft electronic equipment is to be solved urgently. Accordingto the development experience of manned spaceflight project, space repair technology is thebest choice to solve this problem.This paper presents the rapid swap space electronic chassis meeting the demand of spacerepair. The chassis using the top-down modular design, for the first time,the concept ofaviation electronic equipment in the field replacing module (LRM) is applied into aerospaceelectronic chassis design, making the backup pieces of the space repair locate on thefunctional module level, which greatly reduces the cost of space transportation. This articlemainly considers the maneuverability, thermal effect, strength requirements andelectromagnetic shielding four aspects to a reasonable structure design of the chassis, andusing ICEPAK thermal analysis software and the finite element software PATRANrespectively on the chassis investigate thermal analysis and mechanical analysis, at the sametime, it produces a prototype, which is carried on the thermal test, finally, the temperature ofsome big power components and the results of thermal analysis is conducted by comparingand the error analysis, the results show that the both are in good agreement.The successful development of the chassis in our country can be used as a main chassisof the manned spacecraft electronic equipment, its good maintainability and operability forthe astronaut to space job bring great convenience, then extend the electronic equipment life,and reduce the costs. At the same time, structure design of the chassis considerably refers the international universal standard of VITA series, greatly enhancing versatility of the chassis,which fully considers the future of the international technology.
