Muzzle brake provides a recoil force by controlling the powder gas lfowdistribution and velocity to reduce the recoil energy and gun shooting load, so thestudy on the muzzle brake eiffciency in reducing the recoil energy plays a great role.When the gun powder gas goes into each chamber of the muzzle brake, the gunpowder gas expansion accelerated and continuously goes out of the side hole, the flowand velocity of powder gas is related to the side hole area, the side hole axis angle andcavity structure and so onanal, muzzle brake research needs yze the structureparameters on the eiffciency of impact.The task uses mathematical programming sotfware calculation the theory ofvalue by efficiency by three kinds of traditional calculation methods and analyzes thedifferent side hole angleake, side hole area and the central holes area on the muzzle breiffciency by the suitable calculation method.Observe the lfow of without the muzzle brake in the two-dimensional case byFluents and the chan, get the flow ifeld characteirsticge trend, on the basis of thisdeeply analyze the flow ifeld with muzzle brake and get the muzzle brake efifciencyvaluele structure includin. Analyze on the different side hog the side hole width, a sidehole geometirc axis and the chamber axis angle, side hole height, obtain the varyinglfow contour map and muzzle brake eiffciency, resulting in lfuid dynamics researchobtained under different structural parameters on muzzle brake efficiency.
